In partnership with Giv Society, Eco Eats celebrated Vancouver’s first Spoonful Food Fair this January 2016! With incredible generosity from our community partners, we had food donations from Superstore, Starbucks, White Spot, Nirvana, Cana Sri Lanka, The Pint and Shark Club standing against hunger and senseless food waste. Together we served over 255 meals, had 20 volunteers, great presentations, and 2 great teams come together to educate our community about Eco Eats food app and Giv Society’s mission to empower upcoming innovations and projects that are here to serve and make a lasting difference.
